Associate Designer

Job Overview

You love turning ideas into thoughtful spaces, paying attention to the little details, and helping people feel at home in their own homes. At Terra Nova Builds, you’ll help bring residential remodeling projects to life, working alongside designers, builders, and clients from the first design concepts through the final details.

As our Associate Designer, you will assist in preparing drawings and renderings, help clients select finishes and fixtures, research products, coordinate with vendors, and maintain organized project documentation. You’ll see how design decisions move from the screen to the finished space, working closely with the production team to balance creativity, practicality, and each client’s vision.

We were founded in 2000, and in 2023, the second generation of our family took the reins. Family remains at the heart of how we work. Our values of Belonging, Communication, Generosity, and Trust guide how we treat clients and teammates, share ideas, and handle challenges. We believe good ideas can come from anyone, and we invest in helping people grow.

The position pays $24-$28 per hour based on experience, with quarterly bonuses, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a SIMPLE IRA with company match. You’ll also receive mileage and cell phone reimbursement, plus opportunities for professional development.

As your skills grow, you can take on greater responsibility in design development, client communication, and project coordination. If you want to create meaningful spaces with a team that cares about its people, we’d love to meet you. Apply now!
