Associate DevOps Engineer

We are on the hunt for a experienced and skilled DevOps Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern infrastructure-as-code practices. You will play a key role in improving our deployment velocity, system reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, provision, manage, and optimize AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.) to ensure high availability and security.

• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Build, maintain, and scale continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS.

• Monitoring & Logging: Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or ELK stack.

• Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for cloud security, IAM policies, network security groups, and routine patching/backups.

• Collaboration: Work closely with software development and QA teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and streamline release processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 - 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Infrastructure role.

• AWS Expertise: Strong, hands-on grip on core AWS services (networking, compute, storage, security, and serverless). AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Developer/Solutions Architect Associate) are a strong plus.

• IaC & Automation: Proficiency in Terraform and shell scripting (Bash/Python) for automation tasks.

• Containers: Solid working knowledge of Docker and basic Kubernetes management.

• CI/CD Tools: Experience setting up and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines.

• OS Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and system failures.
