A leading commercial-stage biotechnology organization is seeking a Senior Manager or Principal-level AI Data Scientist to join a rapidly evolving Data Science function focused on accelerating business outcomes through advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI.

Reporting into the Data Science leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in identifying opportunities where AI can create meaningful business value, building innovative solutions, and partnering directly with stakeholders across the organization to transform data into actionable intelligence.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys moving beyond traditional analytics to build intelligent tools, applications, and AI-enabled solutions that directly support business decision making.

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Develop and deploy predictive models, machine learning solutions, and AI-powered workflows.

• Leverage Generative AI and emerging technologies to accelerate insight generation and business processes.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable analytical solutions.
• Work across commercial, operational, and strategic datasets to uncover actionable insights.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to productionize solutions.
• Utilize modern cloud-based analytics environments, including Databricks and related technologies.

✅ What They're Looking For

Required

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong hands-on Python and SQL expertise.
• Experience building and deploying machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Generative AI and modern AI tooling.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguous business challenges.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
