Associate Director, Data Modelling Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Data Modelling Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape enterprise-wide data modeling strategy and help ensure business-critical information is structured, governed, and ready to support analytics and decision-making. The position partners closely with both technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data structures and standards. It also plays a key role in maintaining consistency across core enterprise domains and supporting metadata-driven data management practices.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $152,600 – $283,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise data models at conceptual, logical, and physical levels
• Translate business requirements into implementable data structures
• Model critical enterprise domains like customer and product data
• Establish data modeling standards and design patterns
• Review data models for compliance with Common Data Model standards
• Ensure accurate representation of data models in metadata platforms
• Provide data modeling expertise and documentation to teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or enterprise data management
• Proven experience in building enterprise-level data models and structures
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams
• Familiarity with data product and analytics platforms environments
