Associate Director, Full-stack Forward Deployed Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Full-stack Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will sit at the intersection of software engineering, client delivery, and AI-enabled solution development, with a strong emphasis on building production-ready applications quickly. You will partner with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into scalable full-stack architectures that support real-time, low-latency experiences.

The position calls for hands-on ownership of frontend and backend development, along with the ability to prototype and deploy modern AI-driven workflows in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will help shape enterprise solutions that improve performance, accelerate delivery, and move from concept to production efficiently.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $143,640 – $273,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build modern frontend interfaces with responsive designs using popular JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop backend APIs and data pipelines to integrate with advanced language models.
• Rapidly prototype MVPs ready for production in an agile lab environment.
• Enhance application performance across distributed systems for low-latency operation.
• Design and deploy multi-agent orchestration frameworks for enterprise workflows.
• Resolve challenges related to LLM API optimization and token management.
• Engage directly with clients to transform business needs into scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software engineering with expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with application development using frameworks like LangChain or AutoGen.
• Competency in building responsive frontends with React, Angular, or Vue, focusing on real-time data.
• Proficient in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models and vector databases.
• Experience deploying on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Docker and Kubernetes.
