Associate Director - Learning & Development (Banking)

About the Client

A long-standing Banking giant is currently seeking for a high caliber individual to join them as the Associate Director - Learning & Development.

About the Role

• Develop and implement the Bank's overall learning and development strategy in line with business priorities and regulatory expectations
• Lead the design, execution and review of all talent and leadership related programs and initiatives
• Establish enterprise-wide learning frameworks covering professional, technical, digital, risk, compliance and customer-service capabilities
• Build a strong learning culture through blended learning, coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing and career-development initiatives
• Evaluate and enhance the learning ecosystem, including learning-management systems, e-learning platforms, external training providers and digital learning content
• Measure learning effectiveness through clear metrics and participant feedback
• Manage the L&D budget and learning resources to ensure quality, governance and cost effectiveness

The Successful Applicant

• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of proven expertise in Learning & Development, Talent Management and Development gained within the Financial Services sector is highly preferred
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-wide learning strategies and leadership-development programs
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives, business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience in succession planning, talent reviews, competency frameworks and capability building is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness, project-management skills and the ability to translate business strategy into practical people-development solutions
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
