Associate Director, M&A Communications - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, M&A Communications - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will lead communications strategy for complex merger and acquisition activity, ensuring stakeholders receive clear, timely, and consistent messaging throughout each transaction milestone. You will partner closely with executive leadership, HR, Legal, and integration teams to translate intricate deal activity into practical communication plans. The position will play a key role in supporting organizational alignment, maintaining message discipline, and strengthening post-close communication across multiple workstreams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,700 – $193,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of communication plans for M&A transaction milestones
• Own creation of transaction messaging and communication materials
• Direct alignment among HR, Legal, and executive teams for communication consistency
• Simplify complex transaction strategies for diverse stakeholders
• Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple M&A workstreams
• Advise executives with key messaging and briefing materials
• Develop standardized templates and playbooks for future communications
• Collaborate with integration specialists for post-close messaging

Qualifications

• 7+ years in corporate, executive, or strategic communications
• 3+ years managing M&A or corporate restructuring communications
• Track record of strategic counsel to executive leadership
• Strong writing and editing skills under tight deadlines
• Organizational and project management skills in complex environments
