Associate Director - Project Finance

We're partnering with one of Australia's leading Institutional Banking teams to appoint a Senior Manager or Associate Director into its Project Finance team.

The Role

Working as part of a highly experienced and collaborative team, you'll play a leading role in the origination, structuring and execution of complex limited recourse financing transactions.

You'll lead smaller transactions independently while taking ownership of key workstreams on larger, high-profile deals, working alongside experienced Directors and Executive Directors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the execution of complex Project Finance transactions from origination through to financial close.
• Structuring and assessing financing solutions in line with risk appetite.
• Preparing and presenting high-quality credit submissions and investment papers.
• Managing due diligence, documentation and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
• Building strong relationships with institutional clients, investors and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the ongoing management of an existing loan portfolio.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing culture.

About You

• Demonstrated Project Finance, Structured Finance or Infrastructure Finance experience.
• A strong background in transaction execution and credit analysis.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience preparing credit papers and presenting transactions for approval.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex transactions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
