• Develop R packages and Shiny apps by contributing to the strategy for R programming innovation to support BDM analysis and reporting, including Shiny applications for data surveillance, visualization, modelling and simulation, and safety signal detection. Lead the development and validation of R packages and/or Shiny apps. Identify and prioritize use cases and define the processes and resource needs required to guide implementation. Lead, advocate for, and nurture R programming innovation globally within DS. Represent programming innovation outside DS to strengthen the company’s reputation and profile.
• Develop study-specific Shiny apps or deploy Shiny apps at the study level. Publish Shiny apps for individual studies and/or across integrated databases. B. Shared Responsibilities (Leadership, Standards, Quality)
• Evaluates and develops indication-level standards, conventions, systems and best practices to improve efficiency and quality. Ensures effective implementation of, and compliance with, global standards and processes; provides practical, experience-based feedback to support continuous improvement of global standards and processes.
• Leads or participates in programming process-improvement initiatives, including process development within Biostatistics and Data Management. May develop or update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensures close collaboration with functional leads across Biostatistics, Data Management, Clinical Operations, Clinical Sciences, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and other stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains required programming macros and/or tools to effectively support programming needs.
• Train and mentor junior programmers to ensure high-quality deliverables, while providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge. 岗位要求：
• BS or MS or equivalent degree in statistics/biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Excellent language skills in both English and Chinese (fluent in verbal and written).
• Previous experiences in R programming area, involved in R and/or Shiny app development and implementation.
• Excellent in R is required; other programming skills (e.g., Python) is preferrable.
• Advanced working knowledge of CDISC SDTM and ADaM, and extensive experiences of their implementation in clinical trials analysis
• Advanced understanding of statistical concepts in support of analyses and reporting of clinical trials
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

• Strong capabilities of work prioritization and deliver results with parallel multiple tasks.
