Associate Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

·       Installation and deinstallation of ATE and other related equipment.

·       Survey and inspect the equipment on site to ensure it meets company purchase specification.

·       Inspect the incoming ATE equipment and create a record of the status of the parts.

·       Repair and recondition used equipment and perform functional testing to meet established quality standards.

·       Work with vendors and suppliers to upgrade or restore the ATE equipment functionality.

·       Prepare the outgoing ATE equipment to ensure it meets customer order specification.

·       Perform soldering/desoldering of various components of printed circuit boards.

·       Functional / electrical testing and verification of ATE boards.

Requirements

·       Work in semiconductor industry

·       Knowledge of ATE equipment testing, maintenance, troubleshooting is desired.

·       Knowledgeable and experienced in ATE board troubleshooting, de-soldering and repair

·       Must have IPC-A-610 (acceptability of electronics assembly) certificate

·       Must have IPC-7711/7721 certificate

·       Possess a positive attitude, critical thinking and good problem-solving skill.

·       Keen attention to details and well organised

·       Willing to take multi-tasking jobs

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills
