  • Partner with the Plant Manager and site leadership team to strengthen accountability, embed safety into daily operations and support a proactive safety culture.
  • Lead the design and delivery of health and safety training programs to ensure employees and leaders are equipped to recognize hazards, manage risk and work safely.
  • Oversee site audits and inspections, evaluate findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and/or oversee incident, injury and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective action planning and follow-up.
  • Monitor and report on site health and safety performance, including analysis of leading and lagging indicators, identification of trends and presentation of recommendations to plant leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local health and safety regulations, and serve as the primary site contact during regulatory inspections, agency inquiries and investigations.
  • Lead the development, review and maintenance of health and safety policies, procedures and written programs.
