Associate Engineer (Entry level!)

About the role

Join the Process Development team and build your engineering career in advanced optical manufacturing. Structured training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor optical fabrication and processing equipment in a controlled cleanroom environment
• Perform optical characterization, alignment, inspection, and surface metrology
• Record and analyze process data to support process development and optimization
• Support work orders, material tracking, and procurement activities
• Document process results and support troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Follow all safety, cleanroom, and site procedures

About you

• ITE Higher Nitec/Nitec or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering, Applied Science, or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates welcome
• Relevant internship or industry attachment experience is an advantage
• Interest in hands-on engineering and technical problem-solving
• Willingness to learn and undergo structured training
• Detail-oriented and able to work well in a team
• Willing to work shifts, including night shifts, and overtime when required
