The Job!

As the Associate Engineer, Investment Data & Analytics , you will help build and maintain data solutions that support investment and research activities. You will work across data pipelines, production workflows, data quality, and automation.

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations.
• Work with large financial and investment-related datasets.
• Monitor production data workflows and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Build testing and validation processes to maintain data quality.
• Identify data issues and support root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Improve monitoring, logging, and automation across data processes.
• Analyze data to support research and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, technology, product, and investment teams.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.

What you bring to the job

• 3–5 years of Data Engineering, Data Operations, or related experience preferred
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience developing ETL/data pipelines for large datasets
• Experience with DBT and Azure Data Factory/Pipelines
• Exposure to Snowflake, Microsoft Synapse, or Power BI is an asset
• Experience with data testing, deployment, and production workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
• Interest in financial markets and investment data
• Exposure to investment management or private markets data is an asset
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred

Expected Compensation: USD $155,000 – $165,000 base + 20–40% bonus
