Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy.
• Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and treatment planning.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Execute advanced procedures such as dental implants, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry when applicable.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and ensure adherence to OSHA standards for patient and staff safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
• Keep detailed medical records using electronic health record systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of procedures and patient history.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software platforms including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control procedures.
• Expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement.
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately through comprehensive diagnosis and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Excellent client communication skills to educate patients about procedures and promote oral health awareness.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and the unique considerations involved in treating young patients.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance in all aspects of patient care.
• Experience working in a busy dental office or clinic environment with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

Pay: $116,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
