What You'll Do

As an Insurance Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our Commercial Insurance team while learning the fundamentals of the insurance industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with new and renewal insurance business
• Helping prepare client proposals and presentation materials
• Gathering and organizing information for insurance submissions
• Requesting and comparing insurance quotes from carrier partners
• Maintaining and updating client and policy information in agency systems
• Tracking renewal timelines and follow-up activities
• Working closely with Producers, Account Managers, and insurance carrier partners
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Supporting daily operations and special projects
• Participating in training, licensing, and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Customer service, administrative, retail, hospitality, banking, internship, or office experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability and commitment to obtain a Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License within 90 days of hire (required)
