Position Overview

We are partnered with an established investment management firm seeking an experienced Associate, Investment Analytics & Client Solutions to join its team in Connecticut.

This individual will play an integral role in supporting investment analytics, portfolio reporting, institutional client servicing, and business development activities.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical background, experience working with investment and performance data, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, accurate, and polished materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analytics & Reporting

• Perform portfolio performance analysis, attribution analysis, and benchmark comparisons using investment analytics and reporting platforms.
• Analyze investment and portfolio data to identify key performance drivers and communicate relevant findings.
• Prepare recurring investment reports, client presentations, performance summaries, and other investment-related materials.
• Support ad hoc portfolio analytics and reporting requests.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across investment data and reporting deliverables.

Client Solutions & Business Development

• Support institutional client and consultant requests involving investment performance, portfolio analytics, and reporting.
• Assist in preparing investment presentations, marketing materials, and business development deliverables.
• Coordinate responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and other investor inquiries.
• Maintain and update investment information across internal systems and external databases.
• Collaborate with investment, operations, and client-facing teams to support ongoing relationships and prospective business opportunities.

Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data management, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to projects focused on streamlining investment analytics and client reporting workflows.
• Support technology enhancements, automation initiatives, and ongoing process improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects supporting broader business objectives.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10+ years of experience in investment management, asset management, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of portfolio analytics, investment performance, attribution analysis, and benchmark reporting.
• Experience working with investment analytics, performance measurement, or reporting platforms.
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality investment reporting, presentations, and client-facing materials.
• Exposure to institutional client service, investment marketing, consultant relations, or business development support.
• Experience with RFPs, DDQs, or institutional reporting is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and deliverables.
