As part of the continued growth of the Investment Funds practice of one of our clients, a leading international law firm in Luxembourg, we are looking for a lawyer with 1 to 4 years of experience in Investment Funds law.

You will join a highly regarded team working on sophisticated international matters for institutional clients, asset managers and major players in the investment funds industry.

Investment Funds Lawyer: Responsibilities:

• Advising international clients on matters relating to the structuring and operation of investment vehicles.

• Understanding clients’ objectives and providing legal solutions aligned with their commercial and regulatory needs.

• Preparing, negotiating and reviewing legal documentation in connection with various transactions and projects.

• Conducting in-depth legal analysis and monitoring legislative and regulatory developments affecting the industry.

• Carrying out legal research and documentary reviews required for client matters.

• Taking increasing responsibility for the management of files and direct client interaction.

• Participating in discussions and negotiations with relevant stakeholders.

• Building long-term relationships with clients and continuously seeking ways to improve the service provided.

• Working closely with multidisciplinary and cross-border teams on international matters.

• Contributing to internal knowledge-sharing and the development of technical legal content.

• Following market developments and assessing their practical impact on clients’ activities.

• Making effective use of digital tools and new legal technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of legal services.

Investment Funds Lawyer: Profile:

You are a lawyer qualified in a European jurisdiction and ideally have 1 to 4 years of experience in Investment Funds law gained within a recognised law firm.

• Strong knowledge of Investment Funds law and the related regulatory framework.

• Excellent drafting and legal analysis skills.

• The ability to turn complex legal and regulatory issues into clear, pragmatic and commercially relevant advice.

• A strong interest in regulatory developments and trends affecting the financial sector.

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several matters and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with clients.

• A proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset.

• The ability to perform effectively in a demanding international environment.

• An interest in innovation and the use of technology within the legal profession.

• Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken, is essential. (German would be a nice to have)
