Associate Java Developer

CrecenTech Systems Private Limited is seeking a Java Developer to build and maintain reliable backend services and cross-platform desktop applications. The role involves working across the development lifecycle, from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and JavaFX, and can write maintainable code while collaborating effectively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and backend services.
• Build REST APIs with attention to performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain JavaFX desktop applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Work with JPA and Hibernate to manage application data and database interactions.
• Participate in requirements discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot defects and improve the reliability and performance of existing applications.
• Use Git and Maven or Gradle for source control and build management.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of core Java, including experience with Java 17 or later.
• Practical experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Experience with JavaFX desktop application development.
• Working knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and Maven or Gradle.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java EE or Jakarta EE applications.
• Experience with batch processing and scheduled jobs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and supporting production applications.
