Associate Java Developer

CrecenTech Systems Private Limited is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and JavaFX, with the ability to develop, maintain, and improve backend services and cross-platform desktop applications.

The role involves contributing to the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using JavaFX for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Work with JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases for efficient data management.
• Participate in requirement analysis, application design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot bugs, and improve application performance.
• Use Git for version control and Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of Core Java and hands-on experience with Java 17 or later.
• Practical experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience in developing desktop applications using JavaFX.
• Good knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and automated testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java EE or Jakarta EE.
• Knowledge of batch processing and scheduled jobs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and production application support.
