We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and is passionate about providing expert legal guidance to support corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate and commercial legal matters, including company incorporation, corporate restructuring, business license, and regulatory compliance
• Registration with government authorities e.g. Department of Business Development, Revenue Department, Social Security Office, BOI, Customs Department, etc.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial documents
• Handle end-to-end corporate and commercial transactions, including structuring, communicating, documentation, negotiation, closing, and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless client solutions

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.); additional certifications or postgraduate qualifications are a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate or commercial law
• Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts in English
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to legal advice
• Able to handle confidential information in a time-sensitive and high-pressure environment
• Proactive, responsible, and able to take ownership of work
