About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead - DevOps / Platform Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation, cloud-native deployments, and observability tooling. The ideal candidate will take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure, while mentoring DevOps engineers and enforcing platform and deployment standards. Expertise in Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and modern DevOps and CI/CD practices is essential.

Duties Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce DevOps best practices across infrastructure, deployments, and monitoring workflows.
• Lead and mentor a team of 3+ engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting infrastructure/code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Technical Lead and Manager) to finalize infrastructure design documents, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native services.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines that support secure, consistent, and reliable deployments.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, security, cost-efficiency, and maintainability.
• Integrate and manage observability stacks, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack, for real-time system monitoring and analysis.
• Conduct thorough infrastructure reviews and enforce best practices around system reliability and fault tolerance.
• Support DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning, license compliance, and secrets management.
• Drive performance improvements and manage technical debt across the platform and tooling.
• Lead rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) executions using open-source and cloud-native technologies to validate new tools and practices.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and observability of production infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to cross-functional design discussions, infrastructure reviews, and system evolution plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• Proven experience mentoring and leading at least 2 engineers
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps practices
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (K8s), containerization, and orchestration
• Proficient in infrastructure monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Helm
• Strong background in system performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting in production environments
• Capable of driving performance, availability, and fault tolerance improvements across platforms
• Willingness to adopt and promote AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for scripting, automation, documentation, and debugging
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI into infrastructure workflows to enhance reliability, speed, and efficiency.
