  • the tools team has currently 1 lead and 2 seniors tools programmer in France, 3 Tools programmer in Pune. There is 1 senior tools programmer position in Pune, as well as this associate lead tools position. The team is global and not tied to location, so the topics you would have ownership on may or may not always be tied to the people working in Pune.

We are looking for a proactive Associate Lead Tools programmer who want to be part of the ambitious Age of Bhaarat game development. The tools team is responsible of all the technology used to make the game, but which is not sold to players (edition tools, corporate tools, logging, devops, validation…). Your role is to be part of the team, take ownership of some topics, and ensure progress and reporting for your lead or other tech leads depending on the topic.

Core Mandate (3 main missions)

• assist the lead tools programmer in managing the team, preparing sprints and milestones, and communicate with other teams on their needs
• help team members on topics they are struggling with
• take the responsibility of some topics of the team (of planning, communication, delegating work and working yourself on the topic)

Success Criteria (What are we expecting from this person in the next months)

• You have become a major point of contact for several key topics
• You assist the lead tools successfully, freeing some time to that he can also work on some key topics
• Communication with other teams on your topics is smooth and clear
• People have the feeling you help the project
