Associate Litigation Attorney

A growing, collaborative law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Litigation Attorney with civil litigation experience to join its Irvine office. Key Responsibilities

• Handle a range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Manage case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions
• Work closely with public agency clients, including cities and counties, on matters impacting community development and public safety

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Interest or experience in public agency, municipal law, or related practice areas is a plus

Work Environment

• Onsite role based in Irvine, CA
• Candidates must be able to commute to the office regularly
• Hybrid flexibility may be considered only for exceptional candidates with directly relevant experience in the firm's practice areas
