What Your Role Will Be?

• Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions to support manufacturing requirements, including large-scale expansion projects, process improvements, equipment modifications, and machinery relocations.
• Manage engineering projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept development, feasibility studies, and detailed design through installation, commissioning, commercial implementation, and final handover.
• Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototype evaluations to assess technical and commercial viability of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Global Engineering, Plant Engineering, Operations teams, and external suppliers to develop and integrate engineering solutions into manufacturing environments.
• Ensure seamless integration of new equipment and technologies with existing manufacturing systems and processes.
• Oversee the design, fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning, and validation of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout project execution and equipment implementation.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery within approved constraints.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of equipment, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring project objectives and performance expectations are achieved.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, project reports, business proposals, requirement documents, and presentations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including shop-floor personnel, supervisors, managers, contractors, suppliers, and customers, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
• Lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams and contractors, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and technology partners to evaluate, optimize, and improve equipment designs and manufacturing processes in accordance with operational requirements and engineering specifications.

What Will You Bring to Ansell?

• B Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Mechanical Engineering projects, equipment maintenance, and manufacturing process improvement. Hands-on experience with glove dipping machine design, commissioning, maintenance would be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, equipment design, and manufacturing systems.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful project delivery.
• Hands-on experience with project management software and project scheduling tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems, including troubleshooting, implementation, and integration within manufacturing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present technical information to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule commitments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
