Program Description

The Deckers Global Sourcing Trainee Program (GSTP) is a 12-month Management Trainee program designed to build future professionals and leaders in the global footwear industry. Over the course of the program, trainees will progress through the following stages:

• Months 1–2: Discover the business and how footwear is made, from company, brands and consumers to the end-to-end footwear value chain, shoe anatomy, and hands-on factory rotation.
• Months 3–6: Build functional foundations by learning the processes, standards and tools of the chosen function, and start taking on real work with guidance.
• Months 7–10: Grow toward independence by solving functional problems, collaborating cross-functionally, and taking ownership of defined scopes of work.
• Months 11–12: Deliver real business impact through a cross-functional capstone project and a final presentation, followed by placement in the function

Role:

Develop and improve molds and tooling to support efficient, high-quality footwear production through collaboration with factories and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree holders

• Interested in developing a long-term career in the footwear industry

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
