Associate Officer /Officer/Executive- Packing

Role & responsibilities

1. Packing Operations

• Execute assigned packing activities as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate and monitor packing machines (manual / semiautomatic / automatic).
• Ensure correct packing material usage, batch details, and labeling accuracy.
• Achieve daily packing targets as per the production plan.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure packing is done as per quality standards and specifications.
• Perform inprocess checks (weight, seal integrity, labeling accuracy).
• Follow GMP, ISO, FSSAI, or company quality guidelines (as applicable).
• Report deviations, nonconformances, or quality issues immediately.

3. Documentation & Records

• Maintain accurate packing records, logbooks, and batch documents.
• Update packing output, rejection, and wastage data.
• Ensure proper handover information during shift changes.

4. Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements inside the packing area.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S) standards.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and auditready.

5. Material Handling & Coordination

• Coordinate with Stores, Quality, and Production Departments.
• Verify issuance and return of packing materials.
• Minimise material wastage and improve packing efficiency.

6. Equipment & Maintenance Support

• Perform basic machine checks before startup.
• Report machine breakdowns or abnormalities to maintenance.
• Support minor adjustments under supervision.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience - 1-5 years of experience in Packing / Packaging operations

Education - Diploma/ B.E. B.Tech-Plastic Technology/Mechanical/Food Technology
