1.JOB PURPOSE:

To operate and oversee the daily functioning of the pre-mix plant machinery to ensure consistent and accurate blending of ingredients as per product standards. The Pre-Mix Plant Operator plays a vital role in maintaining the quality, efficiency and hygiene of the plant processes, while complying with operational and safety standards required in food manufacturing.

2. CORE JOB AREA & JOB REPOSIBILITIES

Machine Operation and Control

-Operate and monitor pre-mix machinery including blenders, feeders and conveyors.

-Adjust process parameters based on product requirements.

Coordination with Quality

-Collect in-process samples and coordinate with quality control team for batch approval.

-Make necessary adjustments based on feedback.

Troubleshooting

-Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.

-Perform minor fixes if necessary to avoid downtime.

Compliance & Safety

-Adhere strictly to food safety, PPE and workplace safety norms.

-Follow SOPs and participate in safety audits

Reporting & Documentation

-Maintain accurate production and batch logs, raw material usage records and daily shift Reports.

3.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

-ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Food Technology or related field from a recognized institute.

-Minimum 0-1 years of experience in a pre-mix or similar production plant.

-Knowledge of weighing systems, batch mixing operations and industrial hygiene practices.

-Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and FSSAI standards.

4.SKILLS / BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

-Process Knowledge: Good understanding of mixing operations, formulation and batching equipment.

-Attention to Detail: Ensures ingredient accuracy and blend uniformity in all batches.

-Efficiency: Minimizes material wastage and optimizes cycle times.

-Communication: Effectively communicates with supervisors and quality control for smooth production.

-Teamwork: Cooperates with logistics, maintenance and quality departments to achieve daily targets.

-Discipline & Safety: Adheres to protocols ensuring safe and hygienic work practices.
