Associate Podiatrist

The Role

As an Associate Podiatrist, you will manage a full-scope clinical practice while building your own patient base with the support of an experienced team. You will split your time between the office and the operating room, with the opportunity to grow into a partnership role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, diabetic foot complications, sports injuries, fractures, and wound care
• Perform surgical procedures, including forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, as appropriate to your training and credentials
• Provide non-surgical care such as orthotics, injections, biomechanical evaluation, and in-office procedures
• Assist with and participate in hospital rounds at South Miami Hospital
• Manage post-operative care and follow-up to support strong patient outcomes
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in Athena EMR
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and referring providers
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver a high standard of care

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited podiatric medical school
• Completion of a surgical residency (PM&S/RRA or equivalent)
• Active, or eligible for, Florida podiatric medical license
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• ABFAS certification in rearfoot surgery (or board eligible)
• Conversational Spanish. Spanish is helpful but not required, and our bilingual staff can support you
