Role

Project leadership

• Lead significant and potentially complex architectural projects from concept through to delivery.
• Take responsibility for design quality, programme, documentation and client outcomes.
• Provide senior level oversight of project teams and review key deliverables.
• Help resolve technical, design and coordination issues.

Client management/ Business Development

• Develop long term client relationships and understand their commercial objectives.
• Attend client meetings, presentations and project reviews.
• Identify potential new opportunities.
• Assist with fee proposals, tenders and presentations

Team leadership & mentoring

• Mentoring staff.
• Review design and documentation.
• Help with resourcing and project allocation.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience within the architectural industry, with significant project leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading complex architectural projects from concept through to completion.
• Strong design capability and sound technical knowledge.
• Experience contributing to business development and winning new work.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Commercially astute with an understanding of project profitability, resourcing and practice performance.
• This would suit an Associate Principal and above.
