Associate Product Manager

ROLE OVERVIEWWe are looking for an execution-focused Associate Product Manager (APM) to support the development and delivery of AI-driven, content-heavy products used by tax and legal professionals.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, documentation, and execution, and wants hands-on ownership rather than theoretical exposure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Execution & Delivery
• Own execution of assigned product features or modules end-to-end
• Convert requirements into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery
• Track progress, dependencies, and risks; escalate issues early
• Documentation & Structuring
• Create and maintain product documentation (PRDs, flow diagrams, release notes)
• Convert ambiguous inputs into structured outputs
• Maintain Jira tickets, sprint updates, and task breakdowns
• Ensure clarity and completeness before development starts
• Research & Analysis
• Conduct competitive and product research when required
• Analyze usage data, customer feedback, and edge cases
• Support feature validation and post-release analysis
• Assist in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and reliability
• Cross-functional Coordination
• Coordinate with content, editorial, sales, and operations teams
• Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood
• Follow up on action items and close loops independently

WHAT WERE LOOKING FORMust-Have

• 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, Operations, or similar roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and comfort with documentation-heavy work
• Ability to work with partial information and ambiguity
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Structured thinker who can break down problems into clear steps

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or AI-based products
• Experience working with engineers, designers, or domain experts
• Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Excel, SQL, dashboards)
