ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER – DATA PLATFORM

About the Role

We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager / Product Owner to help shape and evolve BrewDat’s Data Platform products.

We’re looking first and foremost for a strong product professional : someone curious, highly organized, user-centric, and able to turn complex problems into clear product priorities.

Experience with data products, data platforms, developer platforms, or other technical products is highly valued , but not mandatory. A technical background is a plus, but what matters most is your ability to understand technical contexts, ask the right questions, and partner effectively with Engineering and Architecture.

You’ll work in a cross-functional squad alongside engineers, architects, delivery manager, and other platform specialists, collaborating closely with Adoption teams and internal users.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery , understanding user needs through interviews, data, feedback, and experimentation.
• Translate user problems and platform strategy into a clear, prioritized roadmap .
• Own and continuously refine the product backlog, focusing on outcomes rather than outputs .
• Build structured prioritization based on user value, strategic impact, effort, dependencies, and technical constraints.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture throughout discovery and delivery.
• Define and track product success metrics such as adoption, user satisfaction, developer experience, reliability, and time-to-data .
• Communicate priorities, decisions, progress, and trade-offs clearly across technical and business stakeholders.
• Partner with Adoption teams to launch capabilities, gather feedback, and continuously improve the product.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Experience in Product Management roles , such as Associate Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar.
• Strong product skills, particularly in discovery, problem framing, prioritization, and roadmap management .
• Ability to translate user needs into clear product opportunities and priorities.
• Highly organized and structured , with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn complex data and technical concepts.
• Ability to work effectively with Engineering teams and navigate technical trade-offs.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have

• Product experience with data platforms, data products, analytics, developer platforms, internal platforms, or AI/ML tooling .
• Familiarity with data concepts such as ETL/ELT, data pipelines, orchestration, data lakes/lakehouses, APIs, data governance, or data mesh .
• Familiarity with technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Unity Catalog, GitHub, or CI/CD .
• Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or related fields.
• Experience working in global or distributed organizations.
• Spanish is a plus.
