Windchill Master Solution Architect

18 to 20 years of experience in PTC Windchill

• Experienced in: Solution Design, Windchill Customization Debugging, Windchill Development Fundamentals, Documentation, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Software Performance Tuning,
• Strong product development methodology and tools experience including agile methods, source management, problem resolution, automated testing, DevOps, GITHUB, SVN etc.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with PTC Windchill 12.x/13.x (all modules)
• Any prior experience with developing and implementing PLM on Cloud– PLM Cloud Certification is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on customer service and positive attitude
• Ability to understand and document various types of customer requirements (business process, functional, technical, data migration, integrations)
• Design and develop end-to-end PLM architecture, including:
• • Data model
  • Security Access and User roles
  • Workflows
  • Data migration strategy
  • Customizations (custom coding and OOTB)
  • Integrations (including middleware and SAP – inbound and outbound transactions)
  • Architecture (file vaults, application servers, database)
  • Dependencies with other applications and business process inputs
• Assist with presales engagements for PLM projects (demonstrations of PLM to customers, creating POCs, determine LOEs and cost estimates based on project scope, develop SOWs)
• Understanding of basic PLM processes like BOM Management, Part Management, Document Management, EBOM, MBOM, CAD Integration, Configuration Management, Requirements management in PLM System (ALM).
• Knowledge of PDM Link – CREO Integration
• Knowledge about various integrations like ERP integration, CAD integration etc. will be added advantage
• Experience in light weight generation, publication process, publishing etc
• Knowledge of BOMs in Context management & BOM Handling
• Basic knowledge of UML, Unix – administration
• Experience in Upgrade & migration is an added advantage
• Experience of Oracle, GIT, Jira tools and working in Agile setup
• Have a strong business focus and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the business
• Ability to translate and balance functional and non-functional business requirements into solutions, i.e Work with customers to translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications, and manage changes to the specifications to support impacted business functions and systems
