What they need

Minizfigs designs and produces building toy sets for national retail partners and brands.

We’re hiring an Associate Project Manager to keep physical products moving from development through production and delivery. You’ll coordinate designers, factories and service providers, maintain accurate schedules and make sure each project has the information and approvals needed to move forward.

This role requires someone who follows through, resolves routine issues independently and identifies problems early enough to address them.

What you’ll own

  • Maintain schedules for assigned products, including design, instructions, packaging, samples, testing, approvals, production and shipping milestones.
  • Keep project records current in our project management software with clear deadlines, assigned responsibilities and next steps.
  • Create and assign project tasks in our project management software with clear responsibilities, requirements and deadlines. Coordinate workloads with team members, follow up on progress and adjust schedules as needed to keep projects moving.
  • Follow up with designers, factories and other partners to obtain missing information, confirm progress and close outstanding tasks.
  • Track sample shipments, collect feedback and confirm that requested revisions are completed and reviewed.
  • Coordinate packaging and instruction deadlines with the design team.
  • Organize customer and brand approval submissions, track feedback and maintain approved versions.
  • Coordinate testing and inspections with our operations team, laboratories, inspectors and factories.
  • Confirm that required reviews, documents and approvals are complete before products move into production.
  • Track production and delivery milestones with factories and our operations team.
  • Flag changes affecting cost, specifications or delivery dates and bring the founder a clear explanation and proposed next steps.

You’ll be responsible for knowing where each assigned project stands, what is holding it up and what needs to happen next.

What you’ll bring

  • At least two years of experience coordinating physical products, suppliers or production in manufacturing, printing, packaging, distribution or a related business.
  • Experience tracking multiple deadlines and following up with several people or companies to complete a project.
  • Clear written communication and the ability to give suppliers specific, organized requests.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing specifications, revisions, documents and schedules.
  • Confidence using spreadsheets and project tracking tools.
  • The judgment to resolve routine problems independently and recognize when a decision needs to be escalated.
  • The ability to learn our products and processes, establish priorities and follow through without repeated reminders.

Experience with overseas factories, product samples, print production, testing or freight coordination is helpful.

Why Minizfigs

You’ll work directly with the founder and a small product team, see the results of your decisions and improve the processes that keep development, production and delivery on schedule. Your work will connect product development with the factories and retail deadlines that turn designs into products on shelves.
