Associate Project Manager

THE ROLE :

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Associate Project Manager to join our expanding product engineering team in Colombo. As our Associate Project Manager, you will collaborate with our clients in Australia as well as our development teams to ensure project milestones are met and that deliverables are of the highest quality. This role involves working under the guidance of senior project management staff, providing administrative support, and contributing to the planning and execution of project activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Plan, execute, and complete projects within specified timelines.
• Coordinate the use of internal resources for the project.
• Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project scope, risks, and changes.
• Monitor project performance with appropriate tools.
• Lead team to achieve project objectives.
• Identify and resolve conflicts within the workgroup.
• Be actively involved in driving the further development of our products and services.
• Maintaining effective and prompt communication between different teams/individuals for the smooth execution of deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience as a Junior Project Manager/ Project Coordinator in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with software development processes and lifecycle.
• Experience with issue-tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative problem solver with a learning mindset.
• Having PMP/ CSM/ PMI-ACP/ PRINCE2 Certification(s) will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior working experience in the healthcare domain would be an added advantage.
