• Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining price quotations, and negotiating terms and agreements to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads, project managers, and budget owners, to understand procurement requirements and priorities
• Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines
• Maintain vendor relationships, communicate effectively with suppliers, and address inquiries, issues, and concerns related to product quality, delivery schedules, and pricing discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels, track purchase orders, and update inventory records to ensure adequate stock levels, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory turnover rates
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to arrange for timely delivery, receipt, and inspection of purchased goods, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and assess vendor capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and strategic partnerships
• Assist in the implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline purchasing processes, enhance transparency, and mitigate procurement risks
