Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts for various applications, including mobile and web platforms.
• Perform functional, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to validate software quality across multiple environments.
• Utilize automation tools such as Selenium and TestNG to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct mobile testing on Android and iOS devices to ensure seamless user experiences across different operating systems.
• Analyze defects using defect tracking tools like Jira or HP ALM; document issues clearly with steps to reproduce and prioritize fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners during requirements gathering to understand project scope and deliverables.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab for faster release cycles.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues identified during testing phases to facilitate effective troubleshooting and resolution.
• Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of application functionalities.

Skills

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver combined with TestNG or JUnit for Java-based testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including JavaScript and Python for developing automated tests.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms; familiarity with Appium is a plus.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI; ability to perform API testing effectively.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB for data validation.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS for code management.
• Ability to perform performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools; conduct system testing to evaluate scalability under load.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis, troubleshooting issues, and conducting root cause analysis efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting test cases, writing detailed reports, and collaborating across teams.

Pay: $2,833.00 - $5,691.36 per month
