Due to sustained growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Dublin team.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate looking to join a consultancy where the focus is firmly on project delivery rather than business development .

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile projects, working closely with existing clients while leading project teams and mentoring junior surveyors. The business has an established client base and strong pipeline of secured work, allowing its senior professionals to concentrate on delivering exceptional outcomes rather than winning new commissions.

The Projects

You'll provide cost management services across a broad range of sectors, including:

• Healthcare
• Commercial
• Education
• Public Sector
• Mixed-use developments

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of cost management services across multiple projects.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and procurement strategies.
• Manage tender processes and contract administration.
• Provide commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead negotiations on variations and final accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest professional standards.
• Support the continued growth and technical excellence of the commercial team.

Required Experience & Background

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Associate Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager within a consultancy environment.
• Strong background delivering cost management services across multiple construction sectors.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial, contractual and cost planning expertise.
• Previous experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, leadership and commercial management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional client service.
