JOB SUMMARY
The Associate of Resource will collaborate with funded partners, internal teams, and the partners we develop to operationalize the resources into our processes for the benefit of the people we serve. The role will be critical to coordinating with those resource providers to identify and track resource capacity, ensure services meet implementation standards, facilitating meetings and coaching subrecipients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently analyze program, referral, utilization, and outcome data to identify trends, performance gaps, inequities, and emerging risks.
- Validate quantitative findings through partner engagement, workflow analysis, and stakeholder feedback to distinguish symptoms from root causes.
- Translate findings into prioritized recommendations, corrective-action plans, coaching strategies, and system-level interventions.
- Coach and redirect partner agencies using performance data, contractual expectations, and system goals; document commitments, monitor follow-through, and escalate unresolved barriers.
- Prepare concise, decision-ready updates for CFTH leadership that explain the issue, contributing factors, options considered, recommended action, anticipated impact, and implementation risks.
- Establish performance indicators and evaluate whether implemented solutions produce intended results; recommend whether initiatives should be sustained, modified, expanded, paused, or discontinued.
- Lead complex, cross-functional workgroups with structured decision-making, clear accountability, and measurable outcomes.
- Challenge ineffective practices constructively and develop, test, and refine innovative and scalable solutions when established approaches do not meet system goals.
- Influence stakeholders across organizations without direct supervisory authority while maintaining productive and accountable partnerships.
- Manage multiple complex initiatives with clear scopes, milestones, dependencies, risks, and follow-through practices.
- Analyze prevention demand, referral patterns, housing-resource capacity, utilization, costs, and outcomes to identify unmet needs and strategic opportunities.
- Monitor assigned subrecipient contract outputs and data quality, diagnose performance gaps, recommend corrective action and training priorities, and communicate material risks upward.
- Deliver strategic implementation guidance for Homeless Prevention projects by translating funding, regulatory, and program requirements into clear decisions and scalable practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, test, evaluate, and continuously refine the CFTH Homeless Prevention referral platform, resolving workflow barriers and improving user experience.
- Develop prevention workflows, referral pathways, eligibility criteria, service expectations, and decision points that strengthen consistent execution across CE, funders, and providers.
- Identify, recruit, and assess nontraditional housing options outside the homeless response system to expand flexible and sustainable pathways for clients.
- Evaluate housing resources for safety, accessibility, affordability, appropriateness, capacity, equity, client fit, scalability, and placement outcomes.
- Maintain a dynamic inventory of vetted housing resources and use performance evidence to recommend resource investments, strategic use cases, and opportunities for expansion.
- Create provider-facing tools and templates that standardize prevention service delivery, clarify expectations, and improve accountability and implementation consistency.
