We are currently seeking an Associate RF Engineer to support our continued growth and success. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in RF engineering, wireless systems, zoning support, testing, and network analysis within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with zoning and testimony preparation by creating maps, summary sheets, and zoning exhibits using client-provided information
• Support investigation and analysis of wireless search areas
• Perform testing of new and existing cell sites using RF test equipment
• Utilize drive testing equipment to collect signal level data while adhering to company vehicle procedures
• Analyze baseline and CW data to identify wireless coverage gaps and determine future coverage potential
• Conduct design visits, tower site visits, and rooftop inspections
• Design antenna configurations and site equipment requirements
• Perform intermodulation studies and analyze results
• Conduct computer propagation simulations using RF software
• Prepare and issue FCC and FAA filings
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional engineering initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field with strong RF theory background
• 0–3 years of professional engineering experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and municipal representatives

Preferred

• Experience with RF and wireless technologies
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, sweep testers, and drive test software
• Experience troubleshooting RF and electronic systems
• Knowledge of software including:
• MapInfo
• Terrain Navigator
• MS Visio
• MS Access
• MS Project
• ComSite Design
• ComSite Pro
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
