Associate / Senior Associate, Python Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs that power our web applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver scalable and reliable digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust REST APIs using FastAPI and Django
• Build modular, scalable services using microservices architecture
• Optimize application performance using threading and multiprocessing
• Implement event-driven programming for inter-service communication
• Manage complex database operations with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Maintain code quality and version control using Git
• Work in an Agile environment to deliver features iteratively

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on FastAPI experience
• Strong knowledge of Django and familiarity with Flask or other Python frameworks
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or other SQL databases
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis or other NoSQL databases
• Understanding of Python's threading model and async programming
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles

Nice to Have

• Experience with Celery for task queuing
• Knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with Kubernetes

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
