What they need

Collegiate Peaks Medical is a proud distributor of Breg products and currently has a part-time opening for an Associate Sales/Service Representative in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Associate Sales/Service Representative will assist the territory’s Sales Representatives by supporting inventory management, patient paperwork, insurance billing documentation, product education, and account service needs.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, honest, hard-working, and team-oriented. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and comfortable following established systems and processes. Strong inventory management skills are extremely important in this role, as the candidate will help maintain accurate product counts, support reorders, manage returns, organize inventory, and ensure customers have the products they need.

A successful candidate should be able to multi-task, communicate effectively, over-communicate when needed, and maintain professionalism in a healthcare setting. Experience with medical billing paperwork, insurance documentation, patient forms, or DME billing processes is not required but would be a strong plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the territory Sales Representative in supporting assigned accounts and achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Support account management activities, including inventory service, customer communication, product needs, and follow-up.
  • Assist with identifying and profiling potential customers under the direction of the territory Sales Representative.
  • Provide product education to customers, prospective customers, and patients on the technical and clinical aspects of Breg products.
  • Measure, fit, and troubleshoot Breg products, including custom braces.
  • Prepare, gather, review, and submit accurate patient paperwork required for insurance billing in a timely manner.
  • Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) with the strictest confidentiality and in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Provide inventory management services to customer accounts, including product counts, ordering, returns, organization, and restocking as needed.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records and communicate inventory needs, discrepancies, or shortages in a timely manner.
  • Prepare weekly reports related to travel, service schedule, account activity, and assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in business-to-business sales, business development, healthcare support, customer service, inventory management, or direct patient contact preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Inventory management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Medical billing, insurance documentation, patient paperwork, or DME billing knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office/365.
  • Must be able to learn new software, systems, and internal processes.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, behave professionally in stressful situations, work independently, establish rapport with customers and patients, follow instructions, and exercise professional judgment.
  • Candidates must live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, or the surrounding area.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel within the surrounding area and must have reliable transportation.
  • Experience and/or education in Sports Medicine, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation to service accounts.
