Associate Solution Specialist - FinOps

We are looking for a FinOps Sales Consultant who is passionate about helping customers control cloud spend, improve financial accountability, and realize greater business value from their cloud environments.

As a FinOps Sales Consultant, you will work closely with Sales, customers, and technical specialists to identify cloud cost optimization opportunities, develop business cases, and position FinOps solutions that deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes. You will play a key role in driving pipeline growth, shaping customer strategies, and supporting opportunities from discovery through closure and transition to delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying, qualifying, and developing FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimization opportunities across customer environments.
• Conducting customer discovery sessions, assessments, workshops, and value discussions focused on cloud financial management and optimization.
• Developing solution proposals, Statements of Work, effort estimates, business cases, and commercial recommendations.
• Demonstrating FinOps and cloud management platforms including ServiceNow, Apptio, Flexera, CloudHealth, and related solutions.
• Supporting Sales teams through opportunity qualification, customer presentations, solution positioning, and FinOps sales plays.
• Building and managing a healthy FinOps pipeline while ensuring successful handover of won opportunities to delivery teams.

Job Requirements

• Experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), cloud consulting, presales, or solution sales environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud financial management, cloud governance, optimization frameworks, and FinOps practices.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing proposals, Statements of Work, business cases, effort estimates, and commercial solution designs.
• Ability to translate cloud consumption data into actionable recommendations and measurable customer outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with a passion for helping customers maximize value from cloud investments.
