- Support the delivery of contracted services to customers
- Review discovery sessions to ensure understanding of business needs and requirements; clarifies uncertainties as needed
- Replicate standardized solution design that achieves outcomes within the Workiva Platform
- Interact with our valued customers, contributing to the delivery of standardized solutions
- Develop knowledge of financial, risk, or operational reporting using the Workiva platform with a commitment to ongoing training
- Embrace the dynamic balance of working collaboratively under guidance while seizing the opportunity to shine independently when the moment calls for it
- The Solution Architect Sets up and installs technical systems, applications or process designs for client’s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions
- Works directly with client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation and train or coordinate training for client users
- Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution
- Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements
- May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely
- Incumbents who are both designing and implementing technical systems, applications, and process designs to meet client business specifications should be matched to Systems Integration Consulting(PS PSSI)
- Incumbents who are responsible for providing complete professional service support for a client or clients, including the identification and development of solutions, design of systems, applications and processes, and delivery to clients, should be matched to Professional Services Consulting (PS PSPS)
- Incumbents who are coordinating all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation should be matched to Project Management (Client Services) (PS PMPM)
- Contributes to small team by taking ownership to deliver assigned activities
- Works on minimally ambiguous problems where solutions are often readily available
- Situations typically require an evaluative review of a variety of factors to understand problems
- Applies company policies, business understanding and acquired techniques to complete day-to-day assignments
- Minimally impacts quality of own work and the work of others on team
- Exercises judgment, within defined procedures; sometimes adapts practices in order to apply appropriate action
- May interact with high-level individual contributors and managers across multiple areas
- Builds productive internal working relationships that require regular interaction across similar areas
- Based on clearly defined objectives, receives general instructions on routine work, detailed guidance on new assignments; begins to independently prioritize work
- May provide broad guidance to individuals in process-oriented roles- 2 years of experience in service delivery, finance, accounting, audit, or a related field
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field ; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements
- Working knowledge and practical understanding of fundamental Workiva technical standards and methods
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
- Applying professional principles, techniques, and procedures in own area of discipline; begins to take ownership of assigned activities
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests
- Ability to present topics clearly and succinctly
- Ability to work under the direction of others, receive mentoring, and collaborate with peers
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of enterprise risk, financial planning or analytics & reporting solutions and their related technology platforms
- Familiarity with complex spreadsheet formulas or SQL is preferred
- Fluent in general technology and software within the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications
