The position is responsible and accountable for the deployment of Lean Six Sigma principles and Ansell Production System in Ansell Textiles Lanka Limited, Seeduwa.

As a Business Process Improvement Executive this position will play a vital role in optimizing operations and enhancing efficiency across various business functions.

What Your Role Will Be?

• Meet timely APS deployment plan achievement
• Own APS deployment related infrastructure establishment
• Responsible for business results linked with APS
• Conduct detailed assessments of existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Gather and analyse data to support process optimization initiatives
• Develop and recommend process improvements, leveraging APS problem solving methodologies
• Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for optimized workflows
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align improvement initiatives with business objectives
• Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
• Train team members on APS processes and best practices
• Support change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new workflows
• Track the performance of implemented improvements and measure their impact
• Prepare detailed reports on progress, successes, and further opportunities for improvement
• Ensure that all processes adhere to regulatory and company standards
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with process changes
• Successfully lead and complete process improvement projects within established timelines and budgets
• Achieve predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, cost savings, or quality improvements
• Ensure stakeholder buy-in and satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration
• Introduce innovative ideas to improve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement culture
• Overall project identification and management for the business unit via programs such as S3

Additional Focus Areas

• Deploy lean tools whenever required by the operations
• Conduct periodic health checks / audits (5S, CLs, DDS) to ensure successful implementation and sustainability
• Train and coach plant deployment teams
• Strategic deployment plan and execution for all pillars
• Collaborate with pillar heads to ensure on-time delivery of deployment milestones
• Communicate, train, and empower Kaizen teams and leaders
• Track Kaizen progress periodically
• Promote and engage the APS concept among the general worker categories
• Develop departmental APS budget (CAPEX / OPEX)
• Maintain compliance with EHS standards and ATL-QMS requirements

What Will You Bring to Ansell?

• BSc (Hons) Degree from a reputed university
• General management/ business qualification (preferred)
• Project management qualification (preferred)
• 1 years plus experience in similar capacity and 3 years overall industry experience
• Business Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, World class Manufacturing, TPM, Lean Six Sigma related experience (preferred)
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing / engineering industry exposure
• MS office professional level
• Sinhala and English professional level
• Minitab or similar statistical tool -professional level
• Manufacturing operational knowledge – intermediary
• Basic financial management knowledge
• DMAIC, PDCA, Kaizen based project management.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Integrated Work Systems knowledge.
