Associate - Specification Writer

Lead the preparation of architectural specifications across Mirage’s projects, ensuring specification documents are technically accurate, comprehensive and aligned with design intent.

Act as the senior technical authority on specification content, materials and construction standards.

Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field

· Minimum 12-14 years’ experience in specification writing within architecture, including senior-level experience

· Expert knowledge of specification formats (e.g. NBS, Uniclass), materials and construction standards

· Strong understanding of UAE and international building codes as they relate to specifications

· Experience managing specification packages for large or complex projects

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the preparation of comprehensive, technically accurate architectural specification packages

· Review and approve specification content prepared by specification coordinators

· Coordinate specification development with architects, engineers and design consultants

· Research and evaluate materials, products and construction methods for specification content

· Ensure specifications comply with applicable codes, standards and client requirements

· Support authority submissions and technical queries relating to specifications

· Mentor and guide specification coordinators within the team

· Maintain and continuously improve specification templates and standards across the business

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
