Associate – Tech & Data Protection Law

Main responsibilities/Tasks:

• Providing Legal Consulting on issues of Data Protection, AI, and Tech Regulation to the Firm’s clients.
• Drafting and reviewing Commercial Agreements, SLAs, DPAs, Data Sharing Agreements etc.
• Drafting legal opinions on intricate issues related to the team’s areas of legal expertise.
• Participating in Compliance and Tech Implementation Projects related to Data Protection, AI, and/or Tech Law Compliance
• Performing legal research on Commercial, Tech, and Data Protection subjects.
• Participating in the drafting of Data Protection Impact Assessments, Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments, Legitimate Interest Assessments, and Transfer Impact Assessments
• Participating in the development of Data, Technology, and/or AI Governance Frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Postgraduate studies in Law
• 5-7 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in a similar position
• Deep-rooted general legal knowledge and thinking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both the Greek and English Language
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Multitasking capabilities
• A desire to constantly learn, improve, and excel

Desirable:

• Postgraduate degree in the fields of Commercial Law, Technology, Data Protection, or AI.
• Additional language skills
• Tech-savvy
• Good Knowledge of EDPB, EU DPAs, and AI Office guidelines and opinions.
• Good knowledge of the EU DPAs, Greek Court and Regulatory Authorities’, CJEU and ECHR case-law
