Associate Technical Designer

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Technical Designer to join our dynamic design team. Duties

• Assist in developing detailed technical specifications and construction details for apparel and accessories using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review prototypes, fit samples, and production samples, providing clear feedback for adjustments.
• Create and refine design sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings using graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Contribute to the product lifecycle management process by maintaining accurate records of design revisions, materials, and production timelines.
• Participate in merchandising discussions by providing visual concepts and styling ideas that align with brand aesthetics and market trends.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, along with experience in graphic design illustration.
• Knowledge of textiles used in industrial design and an understanding of garment construction techniques.
• Experience with fashion design principles, color theory, and artistic concept development.
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams, including designers, manufacturers, and marketing professionals.
• Artistic background or professional art/design experience demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools and fashion styling concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
