Are you passionate about providing quality care to your clients while also desiring a better work-life balance? Seeking a dedicated and compassionate fully licensed and/or provisionally licensed therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A) full time (25-30 clinical hours per week) to our growing private practice. As a therapist at Penny For Our Thoughts, LLC, you will have the opportunity to provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
• Complete assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients
• Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPPA-compliant clinical documentation with Medicaid requirements
• Implement evidence-based, developmentally appropriate techniques aligned with your trainings and clinical strengths
• Collaborate with parents, schools, and other providers when appropriate
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in line with licensure requirements

Requirements

• Master‘s Degree in Counseling or related mental health program eligible for state licensure
• Active licensure in CT as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A
• Experience and passion for working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and/or couples
• Familiarity with child development, trauma-informed care, and family systems
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-based culture
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices.
• Strong communication skills and cultural humility
• Minimum 1 year post graduate experience working in the mental health field
• Maintain individual liability insurance

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
