Asst. Manager

The Retail Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, managing inventory, and supervising store staff. The Assistant Manager acts as the Store Manager in their absence and ensures smooth and efficient store operations.

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
• Supervise daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of sales associates.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower during business hours.
• Train and coach employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and minimize stock shortages.
• Ensure accurate stock receiving, storage, and merchandising.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Conduct regular stock audits and assist in inventory management.
• Handle billing, cash collection, cash reconciliation, and daily closing procedures.
• Monitor store expenses and help control operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security guidelines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Support promotional activities and implement marketing campaigns at the store level.
