Asst. Manager Learning & Development

We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Assistant Manager – L&D to lead and support our organization’s learning ecosystem. In this role, you will own the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of learning projects—spanning signature leadership programs, certifications, and calendar training tracks. You will act as a bridge between strategic business needs and operational delivery, guiding a small L&D team while maintaining a strong hands-on approach to scheduling, data management, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Management

• Plan, schedule, and execute end-to-end learning projects, including signature organizational initiatives, certification tracks, and calendar-based learning calendars.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including learner follow-ups, scheduling logistics, and participant communications.
• Maintain clean learning data, run post-program analytics, and prepare insightful dashboards and reporting for key stakeholders.

2. Project Management

• Drive L&D projects from inception to completion in alignment with annual business goals.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards to ensure all programs launch, execute, and close on schedule.
• Track program effectiveness against predefined success metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

3. Content & Communication Management

• Gather, create, and curate high-quality learning content for diverse skill-building initiatives.
• Design and execute creative internal communication and promotion strategies to maximize learner engagement and program adoption.

4. Team Management & Leadership

• Direct, mentor, and coach L&D Associates and Leads to achieve organizational learning objectives.
• Optimize team resources, time allocation, and bandwidth for seamless execution of daily L&D deliverables.

5. Stakeholder & Learner Engagement

• Establish streamlined processes to conduct learning needs analyses (LNA) across various teams and functions.
• Understand learner preferences and build strong partnerships with internal SMEs and leadership sponsors to leverage their expertise and drive program buy-in.

Experience & Functional Skills

• Experience: 4 to 7 years of post-qualification HR experience, with at least 2 years exclusively dedicated to L&D functions .
• Analytical & Technical Capabilities: Strong data orientation; proficient in managing L&D metrics, reports, and transactional execution without compromising accuracy.
• Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex learning frameworks clearly.
• People & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders, SMEs, and external vendors.
